Saree engraving from 1683

I find this really intriguing. First of all, one has to take out the biases of the engraver. You know that the engraver had biases by looking at the statute in the background. I am pretty sure it is supposed to be Hanuman, but here it is depicted with “devil’s horns”.
Did he get the saree right? I am not convinced.
The single piece of fabric, wrapped is correct, but I don’t think the engraver got the pleats or had the understanding of how the saree is draped, so he just had it wrapped like a bed sheet.
